Due to budgetary constraints, the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office had to make the very difficult decision to eliminate the Conviction Review Unit. Please find below information regarding other resources you may contact with questions about conviction review.

While LLSP does not have attorneys and cannot represent you, it can provide you with information about the appellate and post-conviction processes. You can contact LLSP through the kite system or by mail.
The Great North Innocence Project (GNIP)

The GNIP provides free legal services to some individuals claiming actual innocence of the crime for which they were convicted.

Centurion is a national nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to freeing the wrongly convicted. Centurion is an investigative organization that considers claims of factual innocence in rape and murder cases.
