Dealing with Difficult Parties
Originally Recorded: Feb 12, 2025
Description:
Legal professionals – particularly those in the public sector – must often interact with other persons who are angry or hostile. Attorneys are required to be professionals and officers of the court, which can be a challenge when encountering uncivil, abrasive, or even abusive conduct by opposing counsel, parties, and other persons. This one-hour course will cover the ethical and legal requirements when dealing with deteriorating civility in our legal work and offer tips and strategies to ensure a professional and ethical practice of law.
