The Office is currently seeking a Systems Administrator in the IT Division. The Systems Administrator supports the mission of the Office by overseeing and performing system administration and technical support across the operations environment. Incumbents administer Microsoft 365 tenants and Microsoft enterprise solutions. Incumbents analyze problems or malfunctions to ensure timely resolution, including taking corrective actions as appropriate, documenting problems and their resolution, and ensuring the operational integrity of all changes to the operating environment. Incumbents work with a team of IT professionals to support the legal operations of the Office and ensure the availability and performance of the systems infrastructure.

At the Legal Assistant 7 Systems Administrator level, incumbents maintain the technical operations infrastructure and are responsible for technical guidance and workflow management. Incumbents are thoroughly knowledgeable of relevant operating systems, network protocols, and standard applications, as well as end-user support service, servers, networks, and workstations.

At the Legal Assistant 8 Senior Systems Administrator level, incumbents provide advanced technical expertise in technologies and tools across the operations environment and mentor and coach junior technical staff. Incumbents require a breadth of operations experience in complex or unique situations and are fully competent to provide technical guidance to other administrators and analysts on the team. Incumbents ensure that infrastructure conditions are monitored, and any service-affecting issues are promptly addressed; perform specialized analysis to operational and functional problems; accountable for the maintenance of existing user systems and the development of new systems to meet user needs.

To be considered at the Legal Assistant 8 level (LA8), candidates must have at least 6 years of directly related experience.
