City Rescue Mission is a solution-based ministry that provides a path back to hope for the homeless who wish to seek positive change in their lives or temporary shelter and a meal. It currently provides the state’s largest free drug and alcohol recovery program, Bridge to Life. Bridge to Life provides tools and essential support in helping clients carefully transition to stable and safe housing, employment and healthy lifestyles. Its programs include an emergency shelter program for individuals who need safe, temporary shelter, a vocational program to assist those continuing their education or vocational training, and those who are employed or applying for stable employment. It also provides caring and individualized case management and life sustaining services to clients, which includes the disabled or elderly, while trying to find them more suitable housing. |
